HERES THE SCOOP!
Scottsdale Water Polo is a not for profit Co-ed water polo club operating in Phoenix, AZ. With the aim to grow the sport in the surrounding areas, Arizona, the United States, and the World. We offer an open practice twice a week. And host an annual water polo tournament.
With a transient population in Phoenix we may have a strong participation in several travel tournaments through out the year. But currently building a strong core to represent SWP and Arizona. We will continue to strive to compete at the highest level in the U.S. Entering teams in the American League the National Leagues little cousin.
MASTERS Water Polo Must sign Liability Waiver.
Must have USAWP Membership to participate.

Sundays: 8:00am - 10:00 am
Wednesdays: 6:30pm - 8:30pm

MEMBERSHIP FEES
Everyone attending our wonderful practices must pay to play. We have an obligation to the pool and rent it as an organization. We appreciate those being pro active and regular on taking care of their ownership and personal responsibilities to stay on top of their memberships and professionalism.
DROP IN: $20.00 per play.
If you are an irregular attendee to the SWP practices, this may be the most economical option for you.
QUARTERLY MEMBERSHIPS: $200 Per Quarter
This is our most common membership. Those who may come only a few months at a time. They tend to pay for the year, but most instances cant commit to the Yearly membership out of fear of becoming to fit.
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP: $600 Per year
For the hard core, who know they will be back, daily, weekly, and year after year. By far the best value for the pool. With over 200 practices a year, this comes out to be a $2400 value. For those who know how to take advantage of the system, you will also notice that they probably also have an unhealthy relationship with water polo. ( cant get enough )
COLLEGE DISCOUNTS:
Typically we provide a discount for the struggling college student. If we can we love providing an elite option for college students to get competition to play better smarter water polo. Ask about me!
FINANCIAL HARDSHIPS
If you may be facing a financial situation that could potentially keep you from practice, please reach out. We want to keep growing the sport and keep building the club. We are happy to work something out, as long as we can keep the lights on. Ask about me!
Our practices are insured through USAWP and require everyone to have and maintain a USAWP MEMBERSHIP.
Bronze Membership is enough to qualify for practices, currently $50 a year for membership.
Silver Membership will cost more, but only necessary if you plan on participating in the Masters Nationals event.
You must also sign a LIABILITY acknowledgment waiver for attending practice. You can find the link to fill out electronically here. USA water polo requires all teams who operate under their insurance to create and maintain a sexual assault protocol for prevention and must maintain an assigned a registered safety officer. With that we must ensure that everyone playing knows their role and to maintain a permanent professional role as a masters player. Since we operate at a high school and may come in to contact with minors, Some rules must be followed on deck.
ON DECK RULES
• Please change in the locker room! We are on a high school pool deck and renting the facility please be respectable and responsible.
• Keep all gates closed and locked around the pool deck even during operating hours.
• Help set up the pool and help clean up! When we get setup services we will let you know.
• No cussing! Since we are connected to a high school and on a religious campus. Keep the loud cussing to a minimum. I know this one is difficult but, let's try.
• No Beer, Booz, tobacco or any other drugs or paraphernalia of any kind on the pool deck! keep it too before and after practice if you must.
• Play hard! Have fun, and Score some goals!
